On 22 October 2025, the stylist Melanie Ward died. Melanie’s loss is immeasurable, both for her friends – many of whom appear in these pages, both in front of and behind the camera, and in this piece – as well as for the fashion industry as a whole. Yet her remarkable visual legacy lives on.
Perfect magazine presents a collector’s tribute to the late visionary stylist Melanie Ward, showcasing some of her most iconic and groundbreaking imagery with photographers Corinne Day, David Sims, Inez & Vinoodh and Nigel Shafran, with words by Jo-Ann Furniss. A donation will be made to Melanie’s chosen charity, Animal Haven (https://animalhaven.org/).
